Whitelaw

Whitelaw was just an elevator, a railroad, and a sign for Kansas State University Agricultural Research. It did still have the old railroad depot, though it has definitely seen better days.

Tribune

Tribune is a little bigger than Horace. It has modest homes with nice yards, a post office, some small businesses, a hospital, the county courthouse, a park at the base of the water tower, the Greeley County High School, and a senior center.

Horace

This town is named after Horace Greeley, the namesake of the whole county! Oddly, it is not the county seat, though.

We saw milo, corn, grassland, and sorghum, and some of it seemed to be planted in strips, perhaps related to agronomy research. There are some old and worn out homes here, and not much else in town except the elevator, city hall, and the county extension office.
