Jetmore

Jetmore, home of the Longhorns (and also, at one time, our friend Keith)!

This town has an RV park, some quiet little neighborhoods on dirt roads, and an auto parts store. The kids really liked the excellent city park with a well-maintained playground, sand volleyball court, and exercise area. 

Some of the neighborhoods are paved, and though the town does have some older buildings, it does not have an air of decay. The street signs are white with red letters and Longhorn silhouettes on them.

An old church was converted into the Hodgeman Community Thrift Store. There's a really nice downtown area with restaurants, shops, and the Hodgeman County Courthouse.

For those who love the water, Horsethief Reservoir and Jetmore City Lake are both nearby.
