To get to Quenemo, we drove down a gravel road, over muddy, tree-lined creeks, and through fields of soybeans and sunflowers. Along the road, we saw the Quenemo Quarry.
The town has gravel roads, older homes, an elementary school, and a post office. We saw a guy riding down the street on his lawnmower.
There are also a number of shuttered businesses, as well as the Oak Hill Cemetery.
